We can provide advice and guidance on all aspects of trampoline and climbing frame safety - from initial risk assessment through to safety surfacing and safe use of your play equipment.
We have written a comprehensive guide which covers all aspects of safety when considering installing a trampoline in your setting.
We’ve got it covered
On-site risk assessment & planning
If we are installing your trampoline or play equipment a key member of our team will perform a risk assessment prior to any work commencing. An example of this can be seen in our 'Trampoline Safety Guide'.
We will provide an assessment of the safety risks and requirements both for the installation project and also the safe on-going use of the trampoline or play equipment.
Safety on-site during installation
Our team is fully insured and will arrive with suitable protective clothing. If your installation is to take place in a public area or school where people or children my come near we will include in our project plan how to deal with any risks to safety of others.
Safety of the end user
Probably the most important aspect of safety is the safety of the children who will use the trampoline or play equipment. We will provide advice on the correct usage of the equipment and safety signage that may need to be displayed. Depending on the type of trampoline or wooden play equipment and setting, you may also need to consider supervision – but our team can advise on this.
Safety surfacing
Safety surfacing is not always required, but if needed we can advise what is needed to comply with safety standards.
We can install shockpad astroturf and also have trained wetpour installers as part of our in-house team.
Ongoing Maintenance
Keeping your trampoline or climbing frame in good condition and performing regular safety checks will reduce risk and make your product last longer.
We will let you know the product maintenance required to maintain the safety levels and reduce any future risk. Play Grade also provide a ‘Safety Service Check’ if required.
