Enabling Trampoline play during the colder months at Longcause Community Special School
Posted by Andrew Jameson on
Longcause Community Special School is for children aged 4-16. The school is Autism friendly, where pupils support one another and staff and families work closely together for the best outcomes for their children.
The proposal
Following the installation of 2x 10ft In-ground Gallus Commercial Schools Trampolines, Longcause’s Head of PE asked Playgrade Trampolines to measure up and quote for a Multifield Indoor Trampoline for their very large Sports Hall.
The installation
Longcause went for a row of 5 jump beds which neatly divided the hall whilst providing enough space for the fire escape. The Trampoline took 3 of the Playgrade team 1.5 days to put together.
The end result
Longcause have been delighted with the ability to offer more than one student at a time fun exercise and the Multifield acts as a ‘divider’ in their enormous gym because they were having challenges supervising the children playing in such a large space
