A reimagined outdoor play space for all

The proposal
Our team proposed an innovative solution: a series of low rebound trampolines that could be utilised individually or collectively, transforming the once dull space into a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive play environment.
The installation
Over the course of five days, a dedicated team of four executed the installation process. To maintain the natural ambiance of the school grounds, we meticulously levelled the area and laid down fresh turf complemented by grass rubber matting, all within a gated enclosure. This approach not only facilitates regular mowing but also safeguards the roots, promoting consistent growth while adhering to EN1177 playground safety regulations.
The end result
It's evident that the children now prefer the trampolines and fresh air over the previous portacabin classrooms! The feedback from both students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive. The low-maintenance nature of the trampolines, coupled with their minimal supervision requirement, has resulted in a resounding success for the school community.
